Shift+Command+4: The mouse changes into a plus/ crosshair icon. Shift+Command+3: This takes a screenshot of the entire screen. Once again, the screenshot will be saved to your desktop. Once you’ve selected the portion you’d like to screengrab, click Capture in the toolbar. If you want to capture a selected portion of the screen, click this option in the toolbar. You can change the screenshot’s dimensions by clicking and dragging its corners. If you want to take another picture, you'll need to reopen the application. The screenshot will automatically save to your desktop. Click anywhere on the screen, and you'll hear the sound of a camera clicking. Your mouse's arrow will turn into a camera icon. If you want to take a picture of your entire screen, select this mode in the toolbar. You can choose from Capture Entire Screen, Capture Selected Window, and Capture Selected Portion mode. Once the application is in use, you'll see a toolbar pop up. (If you don't see it right away, check in Other). 
The app you're looking for is called Screenshot. This will bring you to your applications.

You can screengrab the entire screen, the active window, or part of the screen. In this lesson, we'll share how to take screenshots for Windows and macOS computers, as well as for mobile devices. There are a few screenshot options available, depending on how much of the screen you want to capture. You can also press Shift+Command+3 to capture your whole screen, Shift+Command+4 to capture a portion of your screen, and Shift+Command+4+Spacebar to capture a specific window or menu.Screenshots are captured by a screenshot application or through keyboard shortcuts. Now you can take the perfect screenshot each and every time! While using the screenshot menu is a great way to get more nuanced screengrabs, you can still use keyboard shortcuts to take screenshots.
Once you are happy with your crop settings, click Capture or just hit Return on your keyboard. Beneath Timer, click either the 5 seconds or 10 seconds option. From the Options menu, you can also set a short time delay before a screenshot is taken. 
(By default, screenshots will save to your desktop.)
Beneath Save to, select where you'd like to save your screenshot. If you want to save your screenshot in a particular location, click Options. Now you can click and drag to move the crop zone to a different area. To move the crop zone to a different part of your screen, hover your curser inside the border. Click and drag any of the gray dots on the border to adjust the crop zone. The lighter area is your image, while the grayed-out area outside the border will be cropped out. A border will appear to indicate your crop zone. If you want to capture a specific area on your screen, click on the Capture Selected Portion icon. If you want to capture a window, click the Capture Window icon. If you want to show your entire screen, click the Capture Entire Screen icon. The screenshot menu will appear on your screen. Press Shift+Command+5 on your keyboard.
